And every single time, we smile — because we know what's coming.

Within a few weeks, those same students are producing work that surprises them. Watercolour landscapes. Detailed pencil portraits. Art work they're genuinely proud of, in the company of a wonderfully warm group of people who are all on the same journey.

Our students enjoy the varied mediums and projects each term. Many book on term after term and have been with us for years.

Our adult art classes welcome all abilites from complete beginners to those to looking to practice and improve.

Why adults find art classes so transformative
Research consistently shows that creative activities like drawing and painting reduce cortisol levels, improve mood, and support cognitive function — particularly in later life.

Our tutors — Amanda, June, Chantal, Irene, and Hayley — bring a collective wealth of expertise across watercolour, drawing, acrylics, mixed media, and more. Each session blends demonstrations with hands-on practice, with plenty of one-to-one guidance throughout.

Our core courses run in Reigate and Chipstead across three terms each year. All materials and refreshments are included — you really do just need to turn up.

Our ten-week Beginners / All Abilities course covers everything from still life and landscapes to animals and portraits — across pencils, pastels, watercolours, and acrylics.
